Happy Holidays from Emprise Corporation

After a successful All Hands Training week, followed by the annual holiday party, Emprise Corporation continued the celebration by adopting a local family for the holidays for a second year.

The Ledyard office came together once again to collect food, clothing, cleaning products, linens, and other necessities for a family in need. The gifts were presented to the Salvation Army on Thursday, December 15th.

With the importance of family and togetherness in mind, Emprise will be closed December 23-26, and we would like to wish you and yours a safe and happy holiday season!

Emprise Hosts 2022 All Hands Training Conference

During the week of December 5th, Emprise Corporation hosted its annual All Hands Training Conference.

The purpose of All Hands is to bring all the cross-functional teams, from all-around the country, together for a week of cross-training, collaboration, presentations, and camaraderie. The week concludes with the annual Holiday party.

This year Emprise used the platform as an opportunity for the team leads and senior management to introduce their teams, present their projects, look back at the year in review, and set sights on future goals.

Thank you to everyone who made this week possible and to each and every team member at Emprise. We look forward to seeing you all next year!

ESGR Patriot Award Given to Ashore Team Lead

Emprise Corporation would like to Congratulate Ryan Blanton on receiving the ESGR Patriot Award on Friday, December 10, 2021!

Being a Veteran owned and operated company, Emprise Corporation is proud to employ many current and former members of the military. One of them is Navy Reserve Lieutenant Ryan Nugent, who recently submitted Ryan Blanton, Ashore Team Lead, for the ESGR Patriot Award for his outstanding support of Nugent in his roles not only as a reservist but also as a father.

The ESGR Patriot Award is given to supervisors who support guardsmen and reservists through a wide range of measures including providing flexible schedules, approving time off before and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if necessary.

During Emprise’s 2021 All Hands Conference, hosted at the Chesapeake Office, Virginia ESGR Tidewater Area Chair Walter Goodwyn presented Blanton with his award certificate as well as a lapel pin, featuring the American flag and the ESGR insignia.

Also, during the ceremony, Emprise President, Jim Diaz signed an ESGR Statement of Support, in which Emprise Corporation pledged the following:

  • We fully recognize, honor, and comply with the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act.
  • We will provide our managers and supervisors with the tools they need to effectively manage employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve.
  • We appreciate the values, leadership, and unique skills Service members bring to the workforce and will encourage opportunities to hire Guardsmen, Reservists, and Veterans.
  • We will continually recognize and support our country’s Service members and their families, in peace, in crises, and in war.

The ESGR website states that the program is designed to increase employer support by encouraging employers to act as advocates for employee participation in the military and that supportive employers are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the Nation’s Guard and Reserve units.

Emprise Corporation looks forward to working with ESGR in the future and continuing the ongoing support of the nation’s men and women of the armed forces.

Starting New Traditions at Emprise

This holiday season, Emprise Corporation decided to begin a new tradition; adopting a local family for Christmas. The Ledyard office was assigned a family of three children and the office quickly stepped up to donate an abundance of new clothes, shoes, toys, treats, and an array of other thoughtful items.

On Tuesday, December 21st, Tammy Diaz, Operations Manager, and Elizabeth Lewis, Human Resources Generalist, delivered the gifts. The event organizers were speechless and very grateful for everything that was provided.

Thank you to the employees and families of Emprise who made it possible for a local family to have a very Merry Christmas!
